Don - Stranger #2 of 100
I had been photographing objects at the corner of Starr and Chaparral in Corpus Christi, Texas, USA, a few days previous to taking this image, too shy to ask people for a photo. As it turns out Don had seen me photograph his motorcycle from inside the Axis Tattoo storefront were he works. I was again in the area for a photo walk when I saw Don leaning against his motorcycle. So I walked over and gave him my card so he could download a copy of the image. As I was walking away I realized that I had just talked to a stranger, so I turned back and asked him for a photo. He was happy to pose, and I quickly set up my RB67 and tripod. I took two quick shots and thought I had captured the moment. After I had processed the film I realized I had a good one and emailed him a copy of the image. He was very pleased. (RB 67, Delta 3200 EI 1000 film, 90 mm lens).
