Boris - Stranger #3 of 100
Toward sunset my friend and I ended up at the shrimp boats. I saw Boris get on the piling and start to play his guitar. He does this often after all the chores are finished on the boat at the end of the work day. When he saw us, he started showing off thinking our big cameras were shooting video. I went over and introduced myself and explained the project and that I was going to try to shoot as many of the 100 portraits on film as I could. He cooperated very nicely, posing for me. The lighting was bad as usual, but I still like how this one came out. And I can always go back down to the docks and try another portrait of Boris. Yes, I think those are pajamas. They must be quite comfortable on the boat in the heat. At least they match his hat. (RB67, HP5+ film at ISO 250, 90 mm lens).
